Care & Services
As a continuing care retirement community, or CCRC, Solheim provides all levels of care for older adults. In California, under a third of the continuing care retirement communities provide all four levels of care. Our staff-resident ratio maintains our leadership in quality senior care.
Residential Living

The significance of this can be profound if a resident needs a different level of care as time goes on - either temporarily or permanently. At Solheim you don’t need to leave the community you've come to know and love. You may not even need to leave your apartment, as Residential and Assisted Living levels of care are provided in the same area.

Technically, Solheim is divided into two areas. The skilled nursing facility (SNF) reports to and is under the guidance of the California State Department of Health, license #970000049. All other levels of care comprise our RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly); they report to the California State Department of Social Services, license #191802082 and certificate of authority #121.
